John Jeston

John JestonJohn has extensive experience getting things done - the right way. For over 30 years he has covered project management, Business Process Management (BPM), business process re-engineering, systems development, outsourcing, and general management. In addition to his roles as a consultant, he has held the positions of Financial Controller, Divisional Manager, Director of a software company, HR Director and Chief Information Officer (CIO).


John is an internationally recognised expert in BPM strategy and implementation. He currently manages his own consultancy, specialising in training and selected process service offerings.

He is a regular speaker at conferences and a Master Project Director, with the Australian Institute of Project Management and a former member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.

At a personal level John is married to Yvonne and has four wonderful children. John and his family are blessed with the opportunity of spending 3 or 4 weekends per month at their small farm on the beautiful south coast from Sydney. In his spare time John has written two books on running; is a master scuba diving instructor; races his kayak (winning several medals at the Australian Championships and competing in the 2009 World Masters Games); weight trains; and has a significant passion for learning, BPM research, writing and coaching and sharing his knowledge with others.
